Hi, I’m wonky!
Well, no, I’m JJ- aspiring domestic goddess performing for the audience of ONE.
I love Jesus above all, and proud of being a card-carrying Bible- believer. The main reason why I started this blog, however, is because over the last six years, I have been finding it increasingly difficult to slow down and enjoy the more domestic aspects of married life.
Yes, I think I may be one of the last few that actually dream of becoming a housewife. This blog will therefore chronicle the steps I’m taking towards becoming all of the following:
That person that does the weekly bakes on GBBO
That person that has a Pinterest-worthy living room (yup, just the living room)
That person that does sous vide, or purées, and fancy plating on their dinner plates
That person that plans and actually grows something in her garden, from seed, each season, every year (whew, tall order!)
That woman that tends to her family & household and keep her spiritual life daily in check
So yeah, I aspire to be a Mary Berry, Martha Stewart, Monica Galetti, Monty Don, and Susanna Wesley rolled into one. Told you, I’m wonky!
